MYMY does not receive any core government funding – we rely on annual grant funding and the contributions of our service users and community.
Our counsellors
The counselling team within MYMY are BACP accredited. All counsellors are bound by and comply with the BACP code of ethics which respects the rights, autonomy and choices of individuals.

Trainee Counsellor:
MYMY promotes a learning environment and feel it is important to help counsellors in training to gain the necessary client experience.
We accept 2nd year students who are completing their Level 5 Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling through the two Further Education colleges- SERC and SRC.
We will advertise on our social media when we have trainee counsellor spaces available.
Trainee counsellors will work with appropriate clients and clients will be asked for consent to work with a trainee
