Sometimes life can seem dark with little hope or no light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we have to search for the brightness.
A group of hopeful locals are having a walk from Donard car park to the quarry on Thomas’s mountain to welcome in the sunrise. This is just symbolic to remind us to struggle through the darkness to find hope.
Come on your own or bring a few friends. Bring a flask and enjoy a cuppa while we welcome the new day.
We will be leaving the car park at 4:35AM and arriving at the quarry at 5:20AM.
