Eamon McCrickard and friends organised a Dawn Walk from Donard Park to the quarry on Thomas’s Mountain in support of anyone experiencing poor mental health. Over 90 people turned up to walk from the darkness of the night into the light of the dawn.
Donations were made to two charities, Mourne Mountain Rescue Team and MYMY. This week Eamon met with MYMY’s CEO, Deborah Boden to present her with a cheque for the incredible amount of £646.82. MMRT received the same amount.
MYMY would like to thank Eamon, his friends and all those who joined the walk for this very generous donation. It will help MYMY to continue to provide free counselling services and well-being programmes.
